Introduction of a funding allowance for transport for people with a vision impairment. the inclusion of a funding allowance for transport for people with a vision impairment living in rural communities across Ireland. Introduction of a cycle to an active age scheme The successful bike to work scheme is not available to persons who have retired and in receipt of a state pension. This does not encourage older people to use cycling as a form of exercise or to use a bike for local travel.
