Specific Details 9 Sept. Request for a Meeting with Minister Mary Mitchell O'Connor on behalf of Lisheen Task Force to discuss plans for alternative activities and employment at the site post closure of the Lisheen Mine.

Intended results The requested meeting was to update the Minister on progress in the plans for alternative employment at Lisheen site and to seek her support and that of the Government and Agencies in relation to possible funding and support. The Task Force had previously met with Minister Richard Bruton on the issue.
