Intended results Outline IPI's belief that resourcing issues – which affect local government and public sector bodies as well as the private sector and developers etc. – are impacting on the ability of Ireland to meet its housing, climate and other objectives and that DFHERIS support can address issues around increasing the numbers of appropriately qualified planning graduates for the sector alongside other stakeholders.

Email and attached letter on 11 August 2023 discussing the availability of qualified planners and the capacity of the planning system and identifying areas where the support of DHFERIS would be welcome including in the resourcing of planning schools, models of professional formation, policy alignment, development of apprenticeships, bursaries.
