Following submissions to and our appearance before the Oireachtas Committee on Education we recommended that activities such as those provided by GIY should be considered for Primary and Secondary schools. Minister Butler's office responded to say the request is more aligned with children’s wellbeing rather than their mental health, and recommended that GIY explore further funding streams.
