Specific Details Oxfam has been lobbying to waive intellectual property rights to the COVID vaccine, diagnostics and treatment. Oxfam is lobbying for the Irish government to support our positions on the Pandemic Treaty currently being negotiated by the WHO.

Intended results For the upcoming inquiry covering the handling of COVID to include how Ireland responded globally RE TRIPS and for Ireland to use our voice in pandemic treaty negotiations to support our recommendations regarding innovation and equitable access to vaccines, diagnostics and treatments, sharing data and technology and building resilient health systems.
