The following activities occurred for this specific Subject Matter Area.

Lobby day (1)

5th October 2022 in Buswells Hotel in Dublin, organised by IBI (Independent Broadcasters of Ireland), our industry lobbying group, and attended by a number of public representatives and Ministers. The purpose of the event was to lobby these public representatives for a number of proposed amendments to the then upcoming Online Safety and Media Regulation bill that was passing through the houses for review. Wireless Ireland managers originally sent some of the invitations to these elected officials and also followed up in writing with the officials from their respective areas after the event. We have a spreadsheet of all DPO's that attended the event (there are 111 so it's not possible to add each one in Q5 below). I have added below 2 who did not attend who we met with separately to the event as they were not in a position to attend on the day.
