Meeting (1)
IPRT's Legal & Public Affairs Manager and Senior Policy & Research Officer met with Deputy Aodhán Ó Ríordáin on 19th August 2022 to discuss IPRT's penal reform priorities and provide the Deputy with information on key penal reform developments (such as the upcoming Penal Policy Review Paper and publication of the High Level Task Force report). This arose in the context of the Oireachtas football team playing prisoners in Mountjoy Prison in July 2022, and the potential for this football group to progress key penal reform issues arising.
