Specific Details Mayo Changemakers - Mayos Global Climate Community, an event to highlight and bring together Mayo people around the world working to protect our planet. Mayo County Council in partnership with the Mary Robinson Centre hosted a hybrid event, supported by Ballina Chamber as part of Ballina's 'Home to Mayo' weekend festival, part of the Global Irish Festival Series which is a joint initiative between Fáilte Ireland and the Department of Foreign Affairs.

Intended results Highlight the climate action work being undertakeing by Mayo people, create a network of Mayo Changemakers that can harness the potential of Mayo's global diaspora to connect and collaborate on climate action. Engage with and learn from Mayo people at home and abroad who are leading climate action at a local and global scale, and those involved in research, innovation and in developing solutions for the climate and biodiversity crisis.
