Specific Details ACEI virtual meeting with senior officials in the Dept of Transport to advise the dept on the capacity and capability of member firms and to discuss matters of mutual interest.

Intended results Obtaining an increased understanding of Dept of Transport's activities in order for ACEI members to better provide professional services for relevant projects. Also to determine the department's funding objectives and targets particularly in relation to the National Development Plan and the Climate Action Plan.

Dept of Transport future direction arising from the NDP consultation Review to Review. 5. Digitisation and BIM. 6. Consultants’ project performance from Dept of Transport perspective. 7. Current and future Dept of Transport challenges consulting engineers could assist with. 8. Wrap up and next steps It was noted this has been a useful engagement and the Dept would welcome staying in touch over the important coming period and an exciting time for CapEx. Looking forward to working with built environment sector including colleagues including colleagues on the call here in working together on mutual areas of interest over the coming years.
