Virtual Meeting (1)
Fíona Ní Chinnéide attended a public meeting of the Joint Committee on Key Issues affecting the Traveller Community on 21st October 2021, and presented opening remarks to the Committee and engaged with Committee in respect of their questions.
Letter (2-5)
Opening remarks outlining IPRT's research on the experiences of Travellers in prison, and recommendations for action, were shared with the Committee in advance. After the meeting, Molly Joyce (Legal and Public Affairs Manager) wrote to Deputy Dessie Ellis to thank him for his contributions during the discussion and send him a copy of IPRT's reports on the experiences of people with disabilities in prison for his further attention.
