Specific Details To address the lack of not for profit community childcare services in Fingal, and to increase supply. To seek a specific funding model for not for profit community childcare services in Fingal.

Intended results To increase the amount of not for profit community services in Fingal (currently the lowest level in the country) through Capital Funding. To introduce targeted Early Childhood Education and Care funding for children experiencing poverty and deprivation. To introduce a specific funding model for not for profit community childcare services in Fingal. This will support full day care for vulnerable children by funding services based on their capacity, the provision of school meals, and funding for a graduate led workforce for staff working with children experiencing educational disadvantage and deprivation.
