Intended results Increased government strategic focus on and investment in Development Education. To ensure the National Strategy on Education for Sustainable Development reflects the expertise of Development Education actors in Ireland and prioritises the delivery and resourcing of ESD, in partnership with civil society, in formal, non-formal and informal settings.

Three IDEA submissions to Department of Education & Department of Further & Higher Education consultation process on the National Strategy for Education for Sustainable Development. Submissions were submitted from the IDEA Formal Education Task Group, the IDEA Adult and Community Task Group, and the IDEA Youth Task Group.
