UNICEF is calling for urgent action in three key areas: 1. Humanitarian aid – funding of the HAC appeal to close critical funding gaps that are impacting the organization’s ability to reach vulnerable children 2. Protection of children and humanitarian access – support in establishing humanitarian corridors across the country to enable humanitarian actors immediate and unfettered access to all children affected by the crisis. 3. Resettlement places for Afghans in need of protection - Resettlement can help families reach destination countries and ensure access to asylum without the risk of crossing land and sea borders.
