The Farm to Fork strategy adopted on 19 October 2020 by the Council, therefore Ireland accepted it, emphasizes “the vital role of pollinators for healthy ecosystems and food security”. For us beekeepers, they are also our working tools, our economic sustain and our cultural heritage. Considering this strategy but also the Biodiversity strategy for 2030 aiming to reverse the decline of pollinators, we request you to be coherent with these and ensure the greatest possible protection of pollinators in the framework of the authorisation of plant protection products. Referencing the All Ireland Pollinator Plan.
