The provision of appropriate and accurate information and advice to Irish hemp industry stakeholders regarding EU legislation and regulation governing the European hemp sector

securing the rights of Irish citizens to take full advantage of Ireland's membership of the EU Single Market and their rights as EU citizens to participate on an equal footing alongside our EU industry colleagues in the opening up of the EU hemp sector following the CJEU ruling in the Kanavape case
Acknowledgement of the clarifications provided by the EU Commission to Hemp Federation Ireland on behalf of Irish farmers and operators confirming that CBD food is legally produced from any part of the EU hemp crop, including from the flowers and leaves, and that, as these products made from the agricultural crop have no psychotropic effect and are not drugs within the meaning of the UN Single Convention according to scientific data, these products are regulated as agricultural foods in Europe
That the sustainable economic, social and environmental potentials of the EU hemp industry would be equally available to Irish hemp farmers and operators and the Irish people, as it is to other EU citizens, through the accurate interpretation and application of EU legislation and regulation by Irish authorities.
