Specific Details Sought Meeting with Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, Sought opportunity to address the Joint Committee on Media, Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sport and the Gaeltacht, on Media Regulation Bill, Requested to speak at FoMC Thematic Dialogue Webinar.

Intended results The Minister and Joint Committee on Media, Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sport and the Gaeltacht consider legislating for the creation of ‘Community Media Hubs’ as a means to providing flexible community media cover for the entire state, legislating to ensure that community media are funded securely, and take into account the opinions of the community media sector in framing new S&V legislation as a stable source of funding to the sector.
