Specific Details I organised and arranged delivery of a letters to the Minister of Agriculture, Minister of Horticulture and opposition Agriculture spokespersons on behalf of the Horticulture Industry Forum (HIF) to seek a meeting to provide each with an advance copy of the HIF's "Health Check" report on the horticulture industry. Subsequent meetings were arranged and held.

A letter from the Chair of the Horticulture Industry Forum was issued to The Minister of Agriculture, Minister of Horticulture and 3 Agriculture spokespersons of opposition parties seeking meetings to present advance copies of the HIF's "Health Check" report on the horticulture industry

Meeting (1)

HIF met with Minister Andrew Doyle and his officials on June 8th 2016. HIF held separate meetings with with Fianna Fáil (3TDs), Sinn Féin Martin Kenny, Labour Willie Penrose and Green Party Catherine Martin. HIF used the meetings to present the "Heath Check" report on the horticulture industry and to seek government support for the recommendations outlined in the report.
