Intended results Briefings were offered by Engineers Ireland, to ensure senior Officials in relevant Government departments were informed about our planned 2020 publication 'State of Ireland 2020 - Engineering a Green and Digital Recovery'. The State of Ireland report is Engineers Ireland’s annual independent assessment of Ireland’s infrastructure and technology. Each year, an advisory group of engineers and other professionals develop recommendations for public policy. The 2020 document states that Ireland’s recovery will be green and digital, driven by investments in infrastructure, technology and education.
