Meeting with the Minister for Housing, Planning, Local Government and Heritage to introduce Minister to the work of the Society and outline our policy recommendations in regard to the Programme for Government, Rebuilding Ireland and the issue of rent arrears in the context of the Covid-19 crisis. Date 15th of September in the Custom House.

Letter to the Minister for Further and Higher Education inviting him to meet with SVP to discuss our experience of supporting disadvantaged and second chance learners access education in the context of the proposed review of SUSI. Letter sent via email on the 6th of November.

Meeting with the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth Affairs to introduce the Minister to the work of the Society and to outline our experience and policy recommendation in the areas of child poverty, early years and the National Childcare Scheme and Government White Paper on Direct Provision. Email to Minister Roderic O'Gorman, Deputy Hourigan and Deputy O'Cathasaigh regarding well-being indicators be developed and requesting that Public Finance Bill is amended so that budgetary decisions consider the impact they will have on levels of child poverty. Date 19th of November.
