Specific Details Letter requesting action to appoint a 'super' junior ministry for Mental Health when junior ministers are being considered and decided. Included the College General Election manifesto which highlights 5 key priorities for mental health services

Intended results Appointment of a super junior minister for mental health who can advocate at cabinet level for the delivery of a modern fit for purpose Mental Health Service. That the College top 5 priorities for mental h health are given immediate attention i.e. 24/7 community based mental health teams; multi-disciplinary team development, training and retention; nurturing the mental health of the future generation; a mental health ICT system; increase mental health budget from 6% of health budget to 12%
