Samaritans Ireland welcomed the development and publication of Sharing the Vision earlier in the year as an encouraging step in ensuring the mental health and wellbeing of Ireland continues to be improved. Additionally the announcement of the establishment of the National Implementation and Monitoring Committee (NIMC) to drive and oversee the implementation of Sharing the Vision was especially welcomed. Samaritans Ireland contributed to the development of Sharing the Vision as part of the advisory sessions, and we are committed to continuing to help with the implementation of the policy. We would welcome the opportunity to continue to share our insights and experiences as a frontline organisation as the policy recommendations are further planned and delivered.
