Specific Details Submission to the Oireachtas Special Committee on COVID-19 Response regarding concerns regarding the impact of COVID-19 on respiratory healthcare services due to the respiratory effect of COVID-19 and due to the backlog on an already over-burdened system. Particular concerns raised in relation to the onset of the Winter season. We included recommendations for the provision of increased respiratory services in community and hospital settings

Intended results The provision of increased respiratory services in community and hospital settings in order to avert a lung health crisis this Winter as a result of the impact of both COVID and non-COVID respiratory disease
