Specific Details We are looking for government funding via the HSE to delivery in the community services like Phyo, yoga and other exercise class that slow the progression of Parkinson and improve the quality of like for people with PD's.

Intended results To delivery better support services, information and in the community services living with Parkinson's. To raise awareness of Parkinson's in Ireland and the lack of services for people living with Parkinson's. To build a community where people with Parkinson's can talk to peer and share stories.

July 22nd 2020 Dear Minister Smyth, Today, the 22nd of July, is the World Federation of Neurology ‘World Brain Day’ and this year the focus is on moving together to end Parkinsons Disease (PD). We need you to help alleviate the suffering of our members and their families living with PD in Ireland. I am appealing for your help as thousands of patients with PD are currently being excluded from the health service as they do not have access to essential PD related health services. PD is the second most common neurodegenerative disorder in the world. PD is a whole-body disease with people suffering from a debilitating range of motor symptoms such as: • loss of muscle power; aggressive tremor; difficulties in swallowing, speech, walking & writing; • slowness of movement; dystonia (uncontrolled muscle movement), pain and stiffness of the joints, • Constipation; hearing dysfunction; olfactory (smell) dysfunction and urinary incontinence and non
