Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy - IACP
Lobbying activity
The following activities occurred for this specific Subject Matter Area.
Virtual Meeting (1)
Agenda:
•IACP School Counselling Supports Proposal: In May, Minister Butler’s party colleagues James Browne,TD invited us to submit a proposal for school counselling supports to Fianna Fáil’s party discussions for the programme for government. Unfortunately, neither proposal was picked up for inclusion in the programme for government, neither did we get feedback as to whether Fianna Fáil brought it to the coalition meetings for discussion. We’d like to ask the Minister her thoughts on this matter. Was she familiar with the proposals before we brought it to her attention in this agenda.
• Invitation for Minister Butler to open the IACP Virtual Annual Conference 2020 on 17th: We’d like to invite the Minister to open our Annual Conference, the Minister will – if she chooses to accept the invitation – have the option of addressing the conference live or via a pre-recorded message that she can record in her own time. The theme of this year’s conference is Diversity and Inclusion
Email (2-5)
