Specific Details The Wheel invited Taoiseach Leo Varadkar to provide a special address to address member organisations and he did so at The Wheel's Virtual Summit - 27 May. As part of the preparation for that event we informed the Taoiseach of general policy to support the community and voluntary sector

Intended results That the Taoiseach would address members of the community and voluntary sector regarding the important role they played within the context of the Covid19 crisis. Official recognition of the role the community and voluntary sector played throughout the Covid 19 crisis. Discussion around increasing the value of the relationship between the community and voluntary sector and the state.
