Highlighting that the sector is working intensively to attract domestic talent, with a focus on the availability of quality jobs, career progression and a commitment to ongoing learning and development. However, there is still a requirement for overseas talent to play a role in meeting the requirements of the hospitality sector. Overseas workers also bring skills that are not always present in Ireland, such as a business-level fluency in languages, that is vital to improving our tourism offer.
