A letter giving details of the problems with the proposed regulations was sent to every Irish MEP. The letter requested that MEPs meet with representatives of the European Egg Packers and Traders Association (EEPTA) who were attend a debate on organic aviculture.

Follow-up emails with European parliamentary assistants who sought further details regarding the organic regulations
