The DPOs were tagged in a tweet regarding the recent deportation of children born in the state. Verbal commitment had been made on record in November that no child or young person would be deported but no change yet in law or policy. The intention was for the issue to be raised in the Daíl or Seanad and to urge the government to respond to this.
