Specific Details Horse Sport Ireland (HSI) submitted their Return to Sport submission to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM). HSI outlined the impact of Covid-19 on the Irish Sport Horse industry and equestrian activities. The submission detailed the measures proposed to allow the sector to resume activities in a safe and controlled manner at the earliest permitted opportunity.

Submission (1)

The Return to Sport submission, entitled 'HSI Equestrian Sport Ready', was sent by email on 29th April 2020. The submission was compiled owing to the Covid-19 crisis and outlined HSI's plan for a return to sport for the Irish equestrian sector. HSI committed to partnering with all industry stakeholders and Government bodies to ensure a safe and responsible return to activity in compliance with all National Health guidelines. Aside from the DPOs listed below, DAFM staff were copied on the email.
