Intended results To secure attendance by these Senior Politicians at our National Conference for members, on the topic of climate action and solutions to combat climate change in Ireland. This event is an important learning opportunity for our members and the viewpoints and insights of these two Senior Politicians (i.e. on the Climate Action Plan) would be most valuable.

The following activities occurred for this specific Subject Matter Area.

Email (2-5)

At the start of the year, our emails were invitations to speak/ follow up on those requests re our National Conference planned for April in Dublin. The additional emails then (from the Communications and Marketing Director at Engineers Ireland) outlined that our Conference had moved date, to the month of mid October due to Covid-19 restrictions and public health considerations. We hope our Conference can progress at that time and the speaking requests are still valid.
