The following activities occurred for this specific Subject Matter Area.

Event / Reception (1)

IDEA participated in the European Forum on Social and Solidarity Economy in the European Parliament in Brussels on 28th January 2016. This event was widely attended by MEPs and EU Policy Makers. IDEA staff and volunteers held a workshop on Social and Solidarity Economy where they called on MEP support for a European Year for Social and Solidarity Economy and played a short animation to the Forum on the subject. At the end of the forum Lynn Boylan MEP publicly launch the Written Declaration calling for a European Year for Social and Solidarity Economy and publicly gave her support.

Meeting (1)

IDEA met with Lynn Boylan MEP on the 27th/28th January to discuss the European Forum on Social and Solidarity Economy. We also met with the Parliamentary Assistant to Luke 'Ming' Flanagan.
