Intended results The HSI Economic Industry Forum concentrated its efforts into creating a suitable funding model for Horse Sport Ireland by applying for additional funding from the government, specifically an additional €3.3m from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and €1.71m from the Department of Transport, Tourism, and Sport in order to bring the total Government allocation of Ireland’s National Governing Body for Equestrian Sport to circa €12m per year.

Email All Oireachtas Members Each TD and Senator received a digital copy of HSI Funding Submission to Government in the Context of Budget 2020 and a digital copy of HSI Strategic Plan 2019-2024. The aim of this action was to increase awareness and support for HSI funding goals throughout the Oireachtas by outlining HSI's mission for the future of the horse sport sector and our detailed financial plan for the proposed additional government funding.
