Irish Lung Fibrosis Association (ILFA) wrote to Minister Simon Harris to inform him that Feargal Quinn, a patron for many years of ILFA, had sadly passed away. In 2008, Senator Feargal Quinn wrote a Bill entitled the 'Human Body Organs and Human Tissue Bill'. He was a strong advocate for the opt-out organ donation system and passionately believed in organ donation and transplantation. ILFA hopes that Fergal's instrumental role can be acknowledged as we move towards the introduction of the Human Tissue Bill. This will be a great and fitting legacy for Fergal’s wonderful advocacy work.
