Intended results This year Engineers Ireland marks the 50th anniversary of our Chartered Title. This was a lunch event organised by our Thomond Regional Branch. One of the aims in inviting the Minister of State was to inform him about the work of Engineers Ireland, especially the views of our member-engineers in the Thomond Region.

Event / Reception (1)

This was a Saturday event (27 April) in Limerick organised by our Thomond Regional Branch held to mark the 50th anniversary of the Chartered Engineer title. In ROI, Engineers Ireland is the sole authority who can award this professional title, which is the gold standard of the profession. Minister Breen was a guest speaker at the lunch. Other speeches also took place. The gathering was held in a building within the University of Limerick campus.
