The Alcohol Beverage Federation of Ireland (ABFI) sent letters to all TDs and general election candidates stating the alcohol industry's economic and employment contribution to their respective constituencies. The letter also requested a meeting with candidates to discuss issues concerning the industry, including the Public Health (Alcohol) Bill.
Please note that not all Oireachtas members received this communication from ABFI, only those that ran for the General Election in February. Oireachtas members that did not run in the General Election did not receive this email.
