Specific Details Meeting of the Primary Education Forum to support the planning and sequencing of change in the primary sector

Intended results IPPN was invited to participate in this working group which aims to support planning and sequencing of change in the primary school sector, to exchange information on the intent an impacts of the action in the Action Plan and to look for synergies and opportunities for schools to streamline implementation and to eliminate any duplication or unnecessary workloads. IPPN is putting forward the challenges and issues relating to change in the primary sector and particularly the views of school leader

Meeting (2-5)

Three meetings to date - 27th September, 19th November and 20th December. To examine the 2019 Action Plan; Special Education needs provision; Meeting per school term agreed. This forum is being established to facilitate exchange of information between the Department, it’s agencies, other public bodies and agencies, school management bodies, school leadership organisation and teacher representative organisation regarding actions in the Action Plan for Education and their implementation in the primary school sector.
