The following activities occurred for this specific Subject Matter Area.
Informal communication (1)
In November, John Stewart, INOU Coordinator met with An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, TD, informally and spoke to him about the Government's employment and unemployment targets for 2020. While welcoming the Government's commitment to achieving full employment, the INOU remains concerned that an official unemployment rate of 6% will leave a lot of people excluded from the labour market and that Ireland will not address joblessness in an inclusive and equitable manner.
