Specific Details To communicate the adverse impact on patients of chiropractors and the Chiropractic profession, should the proposed interpretation of Council Directive 2013/59/Eurotom regarding ionising radiation be transposed into law. Chiropractors will not be able to perform x-rays in their offices or refer patients for x-rays directly to private facilities should this bill go forward as written.

Intended results The profession seeks inclusion of Chiropractic within the terms of the new regulation. The Chiropractic Association of Ireland is seeking for its members to be confered "Practitioner" and "Referrer" status in the wording of the new regulations.
