Intended results Ensure public policy addresses importance of research and innovation in agrifood/food security/nutrition at national and EU level. This should be addressed in framing the priorities of the next European Framework programme, FP9 and sufficient funding should be allocated for research and innovation in the bioeconomy and agrifood. Develop Irish leadership in the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Explore new paradigms for co-operation and collaborative projects between EU / UN on food security issues
