Letter (1)

Mr Declan Magee began this process with a letter to the Minister in January 2015 where Mr Magee highlighted RCSI's concern for patients and the undue stress on staff, arising from the situation in emergency departments.

Meeting (1)

Minister Varadkar met with an RCSI delegation led by Prof John Hyland on 23rd November 2015. The meeting discussed how a long-term solution can be found to ending Emergency Department overcrowding and strategies for ensuring vital surgical activity within current resource constraints
