Specific Details This engagement was in relation to a recommendation from the Oireachtas Health Committee on the Public Health (Alcohol) Bill relating to the outdoor advertising of alcohol.

Intended results To bring to the attention of the Minister for Health via his special adviser Mr Brian Murphy, the concerns of Clear Channel Ireland (a member if the Outdoor Media Association [OMA]) on the Oireachtas Health Committee's proposed measure relating to an increased setback from schools for alcohol advertising. Specifically, the intention was to highlight its likely impact on Clear Channel Ireland (as an OMA member) should the recommendation be adopted in the Public Health (Alcohol) Bill.
