Intended results Highlight the numerous costs involved in operating and running a restaurant or hospitality premises in Ireland. Cost of recruitment and staff retention associated with a skills shortage in the sector. Cost of insurance premiums and the knock on effect of injury claim pay outs on premiums. Costs relating to commercial rates, on street signage, local authority district improvement levies, music licence fees, the multiple compliance visits from various authorities that apply within the industry and other costs incurred by restaurateurs.
