Pfizer launched 'MBC: A Call to Action' to highlight the unmet needs of metastatic breast cancer patients. MBC is an advanced form of breast cancer where early detection does not improve survival. Even if diagnosed with early stage breast cancer, 30% of women will subsequently progress to metastatic disease. While there have been advances in breast cancer therapy, MBC currently remains incurable and a need exists for new and better treatments.
Intended results
Highlight the needs of patients with metatastic breast cancer including the need for new and better treatments.
