The Environment Pillar and Dochas together have 4 NGO observers on the Government delegation to the UN Summit. They are Dominic MacSorley, CEO of Concern, Eamonn Meehan, CEO of Trócaire, Oisin Coghlan for the Pillar and Sharon Kelly, Chair of Dóchas. Jim Clarken, CEO of Oxfam, will be there on an NGO badge. We're trying to arrange a meeting with the Taoiseach while he is in New York. Our organizations, which have been engaged with the SDGs process for many years, are very proud of the role that Ireland has played as co-chair of the negotiations and we would very much like to meet with the Taoiseach on the historic occasion of the adoption of these global goals. We understand the Taoiseach's itinerary is still very fluid and any help you can give us in arranging a meeting would be very much appreciated.
