Specific Details [Sep-Dec 2017] Seeking enactment of Dublin Chamber's recommendations for the National Planning Framework.

Intended results Recognition of the Greater Dublin Area's vital role as a driver of national economic growth. Formation of a long-term plan for the residential, commercial, and infrastructural development of the Greater Dublin Area. Ensure joined up thinking across the local authorities of County Dublin and the Greater Dublin Area. Promote city regions as the drivers of economic growth where investment in infrastructure will yield the highest return for the exchequer. Coordinate urban consolidation on a regional basis. Improve urban density and height requirements. Link urban planning permissions to density targets.

Dublin Chamber hosted DPOs at an event at which the Chamber's recommendations on the National Planning Framework were promoted.

Submission (1)

Dublin Chamber made a submission to the Department of Housing, Planning, Community & Local Government in which it made recommendations in response to the draft National Planning Framework, 'Ireland 2040 - Our Plan'.
