Specific Details To reduce the burden of VAT on charities. The introduction of a Scheme, even with a relatively modest budget, would send a strong signal that the contribution which charities make is recognised by the state, there is a willingness to address the anomaly of the state raising taxes from private fundraising activity, greater privately sourced fundraising by the sector is being encouraged.
