Specific Details Clare PPN wrote to Minister Damien English seeking clarity around the requirements on Local Authorities around the provision of Traveller Specific Housing. This was done on behalf of two members in response to a statement made by the director of services at a County Council meeting where he said that there are no plans in Clare to provide any more Traveller Specific Accommodation.

Intended results We sought clarity on the obligations of local government in response to this issue.
