Intended results We had indicated in an earlier letter our willingness to contribute to any discussions on nursing home charges and such a meeting would be a useful opportunity to discuss both issues which are distinct but, nevertheless, closely related.

Sage, as a support and advocacy service for vulnerable adults and older people, has considerable experience in dealing with issues related to nursing home charges and contracts; in 2016 some 46% of our clients lived in nursing homes.
