It has been the aim of LYCS to refurbish Rutland Street school for many years with the aim of creating a new community facility which can be used by the community of the north east inner city. The success of this project is dependent on the support of a number of agencies including Government Depts and the Local Authority. Once refurbished it is estimated several groups can be housed there and it will become a much needed resource for the local community.
