Members of Oireachtas Justice Committee emailed and asked to incorporate the recommendations of the Working Group on the Protection Process and Direct Provision or the observations of the Interim Report of the Justice Committee, in particular those regarding domestic violence as an act of persecution, the identification of and necessary procedural safeguards for vulnerable persons, access to the labour market by protection applicants if their application has not been determined within a period of six months, the factors the Minister must consider when determining whether to grant permission to reside in the State and the lack of appeal procedures for permission to remain and refugee family reunification procedures.
